Planning

Jikes, I messed up again. I failed to write for two days in a row, after painstakingly building my chain for the last 31 days. Yes, I was feeling sick and under stress, having no “free” time. But that does not feel like a legit answer for why I failed to write, because I did manage to do so under similar circumstances.

Looking back I failed to really plan my weeks and days, causing me to wonder ad hoc when to write my blog posts (or do other things). Coincidentally I listened to an audio tape of Jim John about planning. His mantra was, don’t start your day before you plan it (and the week, month, even year). Keep account for eventualities that might occur, and change the planning if needed, but do plan.

Since my life has become increasingly hectic, planning has moved from nice to have to must have on my requirements list.
