Self reflection

Although I had limited time to work on self development this past week, I did learn more about myself. I noticed that once I lose control or overview of the situation I start to get stressed out. This happened to me a lot because I still am unable to balance my availability and commitments.

I always try to reflect on situations, in the ideal world I would even keep a journal. You probably guessed but this isn’t the ideal world, and I am keeping only mental journals. They are "ok", but prone to internal rewriting once you revisit thoughts. In the end there is only so much self reflection you can do.

Recently I starting seeing a coach, and talking to more people about personal development. It feels good to talk about the things that go on in your mind, and to say them out loud. It makes you vulnerable but makes it possible to gauge if a statement really feels as you (if that makes sense).
